The Future Skills Conference hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS), Auris Tech, and Fonetti, brought together leaders in education, technology, and business to tackle a pressing question: How do we prepare young people for a rapidly changing world?
Archisha Sanyal represented our team at the event, joining discussions that highlighted the need for education to evolve alongside technological change.
Key Insights from the Day
A few stand out quotes that had as nodding along:
"Technology should empower learning, not indulge it." - Arti Halai
"Each of us has the responsibility to deliver critical thinking." - Lewis Bronze MBE
"Technology is freeing up time so humans can make an impact in the classroom." - AI Kingsley MBE
"We have to believe and respond to self-advocacy - and promote it." - Carol Allen
These themes reflect a shared urgency. With 65% of today’s learners set to work in jobs that don’t yet exist (World Economic Forum), we must ensure students leave school with more than traditional knowledge.
Bridging the Gap Between Education and The Future of Work
That's why we're focused on bridging the gap between education and the evolving world of work as we need to equip young people not just with knowledge, but practical tools for life. Our approach combines entrepreneurial learning, financial literacy, and real-world challenges that build confidence, resilience, and critical thinking.
AI and automation transform industries, we believe education must evolve with it - helping young people harness technology responsibly, think independently, and value inclusive collaboration. Empowering self-advocacy, creativity, and problem-solving from an early age ensures students aren’t just prepared for jobs - they’re prepared to lead, innovate, and shape the future.
