The YEA team believe that every young entrepreneur would benefit from having an experienced mentor guide them, challenge them and help them think differently.

Our Mentorship Scheme provides young people with direct access to experienced YEA Mentors who will help them explore ideas, build confidence, learn skills and understand how 'business' works in the real world.

Behind the success of the YEA mentoring scheme will be the hundreds of hugely competent business owners, professionals and topic experts who love giving back and want to support the future generation of entrepreneurs.

In September 2026, our brilliant (and growing) team of YEA Mentors will show how they bring practical, real-life experience across a wide range of business topics to young people who may just be starting their own entrepreneurial journey.

Access to our YEA mentorship scheme will sadly be limited.  We have only 1,000 spaces available.  Applications open on 1 August 2026 and acceptance will be on a first come, first serve basis.

From 1 August 2026, we will only accept applications from either:

  • Participants in one of the YEA Workshops or Bootcamps

  • Young Entrepreneurs with a UCL completion certificate (from our Basics of Business: Beginner to Boss learning series)

On successful admission to the YEA Mentorship Programme, Young Entrepreneurs will be able to book up to 5 of our 1-hour YEA Mentor 'drop-in sessions'.

YEA Mentor sessions will cover general business topics such as coming up with an idea, finding customers, pricing a product, marketing a business or understanding sales channels. They may also focus on specific sectors, such as food and drink, fashion, technology, gardening, recruitment, sport, events, online retail or social enterprise.

YEA Mentorship sessions are designed to be friendly, inspiring and practical. Young people can ask questions, test their ideas, learn from people who have built and run businesses or have specific skills in niche areas and receive guidance that helps them take their next step.

Because sometimes one conversation with the right person can change the way a young person sees their future.
